The Journey to creating the unique taste of our hard cider begins and ends at historic Los Rios Rancho. Our 300 acre ranch, in operation since 1906, is home to more than 8,000 apple trees and counting. The Riley family teamed with farm friends, Chris and Lisa Ross in 2016 to bring this age-old beverage to you in a unique way. The fresh juice is produced primarily from our organically grown, heirloom apples.
After the trees have come to maturity (which takes more than 7 years), Our farm crew lovingly tends our orchards starting in December until the beginning of fall. The Harvest begins early September and extends through Thanksgiving, and throughout that time we are busy gathering and pressing fruit on our 1930’s mill. On-site fermentation and bottling complete the process, making us the only cidery in southern California to complete the entire process in one location.
